Riding the Storm (Mountain View Ranch)

What do you do when you find yourself stuck in a toxic relationship and desperate for a fresh start—preferably one that includes zero men?

You run away to Montana, of course.

That’s exactly what British Bookstagrammer Stormy does: she trades her old life for a cozy cottage on a quiet ranch, with dreams of opening a charming indie bookshop and finally finding peace.

But peace is the last thing she finds when she arrives and is greeted by Ford—the ranch’s grumpy, brooding owner who looks like he was sculpted by the gods…and has the attitude to match.

Stormy’s not here for romance, and Ford’s certainly not looking for complications—especially not in the form of a beautiful, endearing Brit with a heart as big as her TBR pile. But as her bookshop dreams hit snags and their paths keep crossing, Stormy and Ford find themselves drawn to each other in ways neither of them planned.

As emotions rise and defenses fall, Stormy and Ford must face the pasts they’ve tried to outrun. Because sometimes, letting someone in isn’t about weathering the storm—it’s about learning to find the calm after it.

A heartfelt, slow-burn romance about healing, hope, and finding love where you least expect it.

Perfect for fans of grumpy/sunshine dynamics, small-town charm, found family and second chances.
