An Unexpected Love (Brothers of the Red Sky, #2)

She needed money. He needed a lie. Neither expected the sparks.

Briella Dawson was supposed to spend the next year chasing sunsets across the globe. Instead, one devastating phone call shattered everything. With her mother fighting for her life and medical bills piling higher than her hope, Briella becomes a hired plus one—paid to be the perfect date for men who need a beautiful distraction.

Colt Rivers doesn’t date. Not now, not ever. But with his brother’s wedding days away and his mother determined to meddle in his love life, Colt needs a solution—fast. His answer? Hire a woman to play the role of his devoted girlfriend for one week at his family’s luxury resort in the Bahamas.

Briella is sunshine. Colt is storm clouds. She believes in love. He avoids it like a curse. And there’s only one bed in their shared suite.

What begins as a simple arrangement quickly becomes a collision of secrets, longing, and vulnerability. In paradise, pretending gets dangerous… because the line between fake and real is starting to blur.

When the truth comes out, will they walk away—or fight for the love neither of them expected?
