Path of a Novice (The Silvan, #1)

Born a secret, raised in silence, the forest knows a truth he must learn to hear.

Fel'annár carries the silver hair and chiselled features of the Alpine elves alongside the deep forest soul of the Silvans. His face garnered hatred, kindled love, inspired loyalty — and brought persecution. Determined to forge his own destiny among the immortal warriors of Ea Uaré, he arrives at the king's realm as a novice, his ancient magic still unformed, his blood a secret that powerful men would kill to suppress.
But the Great Forest is at war. Sand Lords press from the north, Deviants stalk the borderlands, and a grieving king grows distant from his fractured kingdom. As Fel'annár rises through trial, sword and the fierce bonds of brotherhood, the trees themselves begin to sing his name — and those who have buried his true heritage know their time is running out.

From novice warrior to legend, the journey begins here.
