Plain Escape (Hunters Ridge #3)

How much can actually go on in sleepy Hunters Ridge, anyway? Apparently, quite a lot.

Sarah James, a social worker, knows what it's like to feel trapped. So, her life's mission is to help young Amish women who want to leave the community. When one of the women she's working with goes missing, Sarah fears her meddling has come with a cost. A very heavy cost.

Trevor Griffin has a plum job as a forensic accountant with the FBI in Buffalo, NY. When his niece doesn't return home after a weekend with friends, Griff tracks her phone to the small town of Hunters Ridge.

When Sarah and Griff cross paths, they learn the two women both accepted a ride with the same driver before disappearing. The home of the driver is easy to track down, but the same can't be said of the women. Convinced the women's disappearances are connected, Sarah and Griff pool their resources to find them.

Emotions run deep during this high-stakes investigation. Griff and Sarah discover themselves drawn together as they cling to the fleeting hope that the women they care about will come home. Safe.
