The Beast and the Wanton

Lord Alastair Wynn is scarred, brooding - utterly wicked… and determined to have her, at any cost.

Exiled from her family home in disgrace, Jane finds employment as a paid companion in the far north of Wales. Her new employer is boorish and uncivilised, a scarred Lord who makes her tremble with a strange mix of fear and excitement. When Lord Wynn makes her a shocking proposition to become his mistress, she finds she can’t think of a reason to say no. Not when her pulse races at the thought of his touch, or of him claiming her as his.

Lord Wynn moved to the remote north of Wales to get away from people. From the judgemental whispers and stares. He has vowed to never let another woman get close, but when Jane arrives at Bodwyn Hall, all the carefully constructed walls around his heart fall to pieces. She is an intoxicating mix of innocence and sensuality. Wynn has to have her - even if he can’t be the tender lover she deserves.
