Savage Grounds (Dalton Savage #1)

A missing woman.
A fugitive on the run.
A case where nothing is what it seems.

Dalton Savage from the bestselling Rachel Hatch series returns to the page in a new mystery thriller series of his own!

When 22-year old Candy goes missing on a popular hiking trail, suspicion falls on her recently paroled ex-boyfriend. It was Candy's testimony that got him put away...and now he's after revenge.

The ensuing manhunt leads Savage and his team into the unforgiving Colorado mountains, where avoiding the wild animals are the least of their worries.

Just when they think they've got their man, a new development spins the case on its head. Who was Candy really running from? And are they still after her?

Faced with a desperate and ruthless adversary, Savage risks everything, including losing those closest to him, to see the killer brought to justice.
