One moment rocked their world, creating a bond that lasts forever.

It’s been seven years since Luuk’s and Corrie’s paths first crossed. Since one look filled his heart with what he thought to have lost forever: home. She, in her turn, was charmed by the young, kind artist, his presence a breath from the toxic relationship she kept being hoovered back in. Between her being unavailable and a literal ocean between them, the friend zone seemed the only bond possible.

To Corrie, Luuk is the missing piece in the life she’s built for herself and her twins. Despite the thousands of miles, they have always been there for each other, their friendship growing stronger through loss, grief, the birth of new life and the rise to stardom. And Luuk’s rather prolific dating life.

Now a successful heartthrob, the country music rising star of then is back to Amsterdam for another concert. Only, this time he comes with a mission: to take a chance on them, fearing that if he doesn’t take the leap of faith, it might be too late. Or is it too late already?

Can Luuk’s and Corrie’s lives be brought together, possibly at the cost of heartbreak and the loss of their friendship? Will they overcome their fears and allow their relationship to become what they’ve been longing for? And even if they do, how can they navigate the barriers hurled at them by life and the world?

A single mom, reverse age-gap romance about friendship, found family and a love that lives through time and distance, waiting for its moment to thrive.
