Rani, a two-hundred-year-old mermaid is reunited with her long-lost friend, a mortal man named Tristan after 10 years of separation. Having enough of loneliness, Rani seeks Tristan's returning companionship. Unwillingly taken away from their friendship, Tristan once again finds comfort in Rani's wisdom and calm.
