Before You Forget

He’s been bound to his bones for a century.
She has days to set him free.

Forensic anthropologist Dr Margaret ‘Meg’ Jones has spent ten years running from her hometown. She doesn’t do ghosts, and she certainly doesn’t do feelings. But when she’s called back to Vernon Vale to examine a century-old unmarked grave, she gets more than she bargained for. Skeleton 4 has a smart mouth, the unmistakable swagger of a man who’d be smirking if he had lips, and a curse that will snap him back into oblivion by Halloween.

He’s the most infuriating, charming, and impossible man she’s ever met. And he’s dead. For now. To break the curse, Meg must decode the truth etched into his bones, but every minute she spends with him is a minute she risks losing her heart. With the clock ticking down to midnight, she has to decide: can a scientist who worships facts trust a man who shouldn’t exist? And if she breaks the curse, does she lose him – or finally find the home she’s been running from?
