To Hunt a Ruby Remedy (Once Upon an Enchantment, #0.5)

The man who opened this cottage door is hiding more than big teeth. Not even a journey to the Drakona Forest will stop Scarlette from getting the magical cure her mother needs. But when the door to the healer’s cottage opens, she doesn’t find the grandmother she expected. The man on the other side is scowling, curt, and smoking hot. He also wants Scarlette gone. Now.

Ranulf prefers his solitude, especially with a dragon-hunter roaming his woods. The last thing he needs is a distractingly attractive woman under his roof. She doesn’t belong in his isolated world, even if resisting her sunny smiles (and delicious pies) is proving harder than Ranulf expected.

When the huntsman sets his sights on Scarlette, Ranulf can no longer hide his secrets. He can protect Scarlette – but how will he survive the heartbreak of sending her away? *** A Little Red Riding Hood retelling with a grumpy dragon-shifter, steamy romance, and a happily ever after. ***
