In 1978, a young editor named Regina Ann Mitchell went missing on her way to a work related party. The only thing ever found of her was her car, parked next to a bridge crossing over the Chattahoochee river.

Unknown to Ellen's partner and co-workers, she has a gift that aids their investigation, but her gift is changing. To complicate matters, a new man enters Ellen's life. Can she manage to solve the cold case while struggling with her evolving gift and this new guy who threatens to unfreeze her frozen heart?
